Fireplace relight

A dark firebox reads as a black hole in the wall. A lit one sells the whole room.

What Fireplace Relight does.

The fireplace is often a living room's headline feature. In photos, it's usually a cold, dark rectangle, because lighting a real fire for a 2pm summer shoot isn't practical.

Fireplace relight adds a realistic flame to the firebox, with a warm glow that sits naturally in the room's light. It's applied with HDR Merge orders, so the hearth becomes the focal point it was built to be.

Questions

Good questions.

Does the fire look real?

The flame is scaled to the firebox and the glow is blended into the room's existing light. The standard we hold is that it reads as a photo of a lit fireplace, not a sticker of one.

Does it matter if it's gas, wood, or electric?

No. Any firebox can be relit; the flame style is matched to the type where it's visible.

Should I disclose it?

It's generally treated like turning on lights for a photo: showing a real feature in use. If your MLS has specific enhancement rules, follow those.
