The short version
We use first-party cookies and your browser's storage to keep you signed in, protect connections, and remember your settings. We don't use advertising, analytics or cross-site tracking cookies. The only optional cookie remembers a referral link for 90 days, and we set it only if you allow it.
When you visit a photographer's storefront, marketplace profile or client gallery, or our photographer search, we count the visit for that photographer without any cookie or browser storage. What we record, and how to opt out, is in the Privacy Policy, section 1.12.
What these are
A cookie is a small piece of text a website stores in your browser and reads back later. Browser storage (localStorage and sessionStorage) works the same way but stays on your device and is not sent to our servers. The desktop app keeps the same kinds of settings in its own built-in browser.

Workspace data kept on this device
Some Workspace features keep their data in your browser for now: clients, bookings, calendar events, listings and account settings. This can include your clients' names, contact details and property addresses. It stays on this device until you clear this site's data in your browser; signing out does not remove it.

Services your browser loads directly
Maps are drawn from OpenFreeMap tiles, served through Cloudflare: your browser sends your IP address and the page address when a map loads, and no cookies are set. When you connect Stripe, Square or Google, or pay on a checkout page, you are sent to that company's own page, which sets its own cookies under its own policy.
Your choices
Change your cookie choice any time with Cookie settings above or in the footer. We treat Global Privacy Control as a choice of “only necessary”. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser; if you block the strictly necessary ones, signing in will not work.
